Born in 1982.
Madame trained as an actress and set designer with a master’s degree from the Sorbonne University, but quickly devoted herself to sculpture, painting and gradually collage. Madame’s works are an accumulation of objects in a carefully orchestrated dramaturgy that is often transferred to the public space. Her works show a humorous diversion, a certain pleasure of undermining, so that she can touch on more global and heavier issues, like gender or identity, but remain at an ease. Her desire to surprise causes her to connect the text and the image, the strange with the marvelous, the playful to the humorous.
