Lithography framing
For this lithograph, we recommend framing with a spacer strip that lifts the glass 10 mm from the lithograph. The lithograph is only attached at the top and is free-hanging in the frame – also known as an aquarium frame (see photo). Our frames are handmade and made from the best materials. We use museum glass (UV70) as standard. This ensures the optimal color experience and also protects the litho from UV light.
Choose between frame in solid smoked oak, light oak or black. The profiles are 1.5 cm wide and 3 cm deep. There is a 3 cm gap between the frame and the lithograph all the way around. Supplied with corner mount.
Free shipping on unframed lithographs. They are shipped with PostNord in tubes. Framed lithographs can be picked up at the gallery in Svendborg or delivered by courier (+DKK 400). Allow 3-4 weeks for framing.

Et litografi – også kaldet stentryk – er en teknik som er næsten 250 år gammel. Kort fortalt er det en kalksten som fungerer som kunstnerens lærred. Kunstneren tegner motivet direkte på stenen – én farve ad gangen. Så bliver oplaget trykt med den ønskede farve. Herefter bliver stenen slebet, og er nu klar til at kunstneren kan tegne den næste farve. Det er en langsommelig process og det er ikke ualmindeligt at der er op mod 10 og 15 farvelag i Lars Nørgårds litografier.
